Release Audit

Know exactly what is broken and what to fix first.

$2,400

7–10 days diagnosing your suite, CI, and ownership · USD

  • Current-state assessment: suite, framework, CI, ownership
  • Failure-pattern and risk mapping
  • Prioritized 30/60/90-day action plan
  • Service recommendation (sprint, retainer, or internal execution)

Advisory Retainer

Ongoing architecture guidance without FTE overhead.

$3,600/mo

Monthly retainer, minimum 3 months · bounded advisory capacity · USD

  • Two scheduled architecture or release-readiness reviews per month
  • Quality-gate and CI advisory
  • Up to two async review requests per week for one team or workstream
  • Slack-based escalation during business hours (4-hr acknowledgment, not incident-resolution SLA)
  • Team mentoring and ownership coaching within agreed repo/team boundaries

Complex Enterprise Sprint

Multi-team governance or regulated delivery scope.

Custom

For multiple repos, teams, products, or procurement/security complexity · USD

  • Custom scope for more than two repositories or unrelated suites
  • Security, access, legal, and governance requirements handled up front
  • Can include enterprise retainer or cross-team release governance

Stabilization Sprint: 50% fee-at-risk against agreed release-signal KPIs. If the mutually selected KPI set is not measurably better after the sprint, I refund 50% of the sprint fee. KPI choices can include flaky failure rate, retry recovery rate, CI pass reliability, regression duration, failure triage time, noise ratio, or gate-bypass frequency. This is a refund condition, not a promise of 50% performance improvement.

Scope boundaries

What the public prices assume.

These prices are designed for a focused release-confidence bottleneck. Larger multi-team or enterprise scopes are quoted separately after diagnosis.

CI Signal Triage

One pipeline or suite.

Best for a narrow review of one noisy CI path, one framework area, or one release-blocking suite. Output is a ranked fix list, not implementation.

Release Audit

One product area, up to two repos.

Best for teams that can share CI history, test reports, framework structure, and stakeholder context. Output is diagnosis, baseline, and 30/60/90-day plan.

Stabilization Sprint

One bounded release risk.

Best for up to two repositories or related suites, one main CI system, and a cooperative internal owner. More repos, business units, or regulated access require custom scoping.

After CI Signal Triage

The triage should make the next decision obvious.

No fit: stop.

If the problem is staffing, device coverage, localization, or greenfield manual testing, I will say so.

Internal fix list: execute internally.

If your team can fix the top issues without me, use the written diagnosis as the action list.

Deeper diagnosis: Release Audit.

If the root cause is unclear or cross-functional, move into the 7-10 day audit. The triage fee is credited if started within 14 days.

Urgent bounded problem: Stabilization Sprint.

If there is a near-term release risk inside a bounded scope, move directly into sprint planning and KPI baseline.

Ongoing governance: Advisory Retainer.

If the system mostly works but leadership needs release-readiness review, use bounded advisory.

ROI sanity check

Estimate whether the sprint can pay back.

This is a simple buyer-side calculator. It is not a forecast. Use your own engineering cost and current CI/release waste.

Estimated monthly waste from release-confidence friction:

$6,450

At a $7,200 sprint fee, full elimination would imply about 1.1 months to pay back. Actual payback depends on what is fixed and sustained.

Buyer fit

Before you spend money, answer the real buying questions.

These engagements are designed for release-confidence problems, not generic staff augmentation.

AI tools are useful, but they do not own release risk.

If your engineers already use Cursor, Claude, Copilot, Playwright, or Selenium helpers, the missing piece is usually architecture, gating, measurement, and ownership.

Use a consultant before you hire permanent headcount.

A focused diagnosis shows whether you need a full-time SDET, a framework reset, a sprint, or a smaller internal change. That prevents a slow and expensive hiring mistake.

Remote delivery still needs confidentiality discipline.

Do not share passwords, customer data, or confidential source code in the first request. Access, NDA, AI usage, and data-handling rules should be agreed before deeper technical review.
